The new Ensitech TIG Brush® offers a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to using Pickling Paste for cleaning Stainless Steel welds.

The small but powerful unit uses a unique high-temperature brush to provide electrical energy to the surface of stainless steel. The effective use of temperatures activates a mild solution, which quickly removes weld discolouration and simultaneously passivates the stainless steel surface.

The special tip design allows welds of all shapes and positions to be easily reached and cleaned. TIG Brush is specifically targeted at companies keen to reduce the hazards of the workplace, as well as being “green” and cost-effective for customers. The TIG Brush® overcomes the significant dangers and other disadvantages of using traditional cleaning methods such as Pickling Paste.

Previous alternatives to Pickling Paste have included mechanical abrasion, which is labour intensive and tends to damage the surface of the work.

Using the TIG Brush®, on the other hand, removes weld discolouration without damaging the material surface.

The range of industries using the TIG Brush® is rapidly expanding.
